medpassport SPORTS MEDICINE has been chosen by 4 new French federations including the Surfing and the Handball Federation. Today, the web based portal medpassport SPORTS MEDICINE allows efficient management of about 2100 athlete’s medical check-up programmes, from recording the examination results to the sharing of data and analysis by physicians. The system is compliant with European confidentiality and security regulations relating to medical data.

Voluntis at CeBIT, Hanover, Germany – Telehealth Congress

CeBIT is the biggest fair of the IT world with over 6,000 exhibitors, 480,000 visitors
representing around 79 countries. It will take place from March 04th - March 09th
2008 in Hanover, Germany and this year France is the official CeBIT-Partner country.
Voluntis, as the winner of the Grand Prix of the Innovation Trophy in 2007 organised
by Syntec Informatique and Orange Business Services, is proud to be part of the
Telehealth Congress on March 08th during the CeBIT in Hall 8. The symposium is focussed
on « Outlook on eHealth in France » and Pierre Leurent, CEO of Voluntis,
will be presenting « Innovation of e-Health » during this workshop.

APARD CHOOSES MEDPASSPORT HOMECARE FOR THEIR PATIENTS IN ARTIFICIAL NUTRITION AND DIABETES

APARD is a Homecare Provider specialised in respiratory care, insulin therapy and assisted nutrition in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. They chose medpassport HOMECARE, a mobile and web-based patient monitoring software system, for their artificial nutrition and diabetes activity. That will allow them to increase quality and traceability of their medical care services, as well as to gain precious time on administrative tasks for the nurses. Also, they will be able to provide high-value services to doctors and healthcare professionals that cooperate with APARD.

Voluntis was awarded by Orange Business Services and Syntec Informatique (French
association of software and computer service companies) the Grand Prix des Trophées
Innovation 2007, for its groundbreaking diabeo solution. Based on the medpassport
software platform, diabeo is a mobile and web diabetes management solution
which improves the monitoring of functional insulin therapy, while increasing the
patients’ quality of life. diabeo is developed in collaboration with CERITD
(diabetology research team led by Dr. Charpentier of the « Centre Hospitalier Sud
Francilien ») and supported by Orange Healthcare.

Voluntis achieves Mobility Solutions competancy

Voluntis announces the achievement of the Mobility Solutions competency of the Microsoft
Certified Partners Program, as a result of its success in delivering mobile and
PDA-based solutions to its customers in the healthcare industry. During the last
two years, Voluntis developed mobile clients for its medpassport Suite that
support and extend the latest Microsoft mobile technologies such as Windows Mobile,
.Net Compact Framework and SQL Server Mobile Edition. This nomination arrives just
one month after the release of version 1.0 of the medpassport compact framework.

Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, unveiled an agreement intended to encourage
software development in France. Abbreviated to IDEES, the French word for ideas,
the agreement will involve 15 venture-capital partners, 25 French start-up software
companies and an initiative by Microsoft to offer privileged cooperation in a number
of ways, including marketing, development and testing of new software. Voluntis
is one of the first start-ups identified by Microsoft, which will benefit from the
program.

CHSF and Voluntis start a pilot study to evaluate a groundbreaking
mobile diabetes application

Diabetes patients may take advantage of state-of-the-art pdaphones to keep track
of their diabetes and make better decisions about their insulin dosage, while health
care professionals could better interact with them remotely. That's the focus of
a new protocol created by Dr Guillaume Charpentier, head of the diabetes care department
of Centre Hospitalier Gilles de Corbeil and Vice-President of the French Diabetes
Association. This trial will evaluate the patients' acceptance of this new solution,
and provide insights regarding the way it could enhance the productivity of the
diabetes department.

Launch of Diabcarnet |

AJD (Aide aux Jeunes Diabétiques) - the French juvenile diabetes association revolutionizes
diabetes management by launching Diabcarnet, the first electronic logbook for diabetes
monitoring. Tested for over a year in the diabetes camps of AJD, the software application
is already plebiscited by its users. According to Michel Cahané, MD, Director of
the association, "AJD's Diabcarnet is an alternative to the paper logbook. Used
appropriately, it will become tomorrow's universal logbook. Diabcarnet addresses
diabetes patients' expectations: ease of use, interactivity, and, we hope, better
treatment compliance".
