Meet Mireille, our Services & Solution Design Manager Oncology
What do you do at Voluntis?
I hold the role of Services & Solution Design manager; I ensure several key aspects to delivering digital solutions to our clients. My responsibilities go from collaborating with the clients on the requirements and product design to finding the best technical solutions that respond to the functional needs. That is done by working close with the medical and technical experts within Voluntis team.
When did you join Voluntis?
I joined Voluntis in 2018 as a verification and validation engineer. I worked with product managers, product owners and the development team on specifying the product and following the regulatory process to validate functions’ consistency with clients’ requirements. Thanks to a great advisory and support from Voluntis and it’s HR team, I was able to evolve my skills in an agile environment and get promoted to lead a new role with higher responsibilities.
What previous experience do you bring to Voluntis?
After my engineering degree, I started working for a leader company in ophthalmic optics as knowledge manager and functional trainer. At that time, I participated in multiple projects related to collaborative tools worldwide. Ever since then, I have decided to evolve in the medical/health field while bringing expertise in innovation and new technologies. When I first joined Voluntis, I was a consultant. I discovered a great company full of ambition and great potential and so I decided to stay!
Why do you like working at Voluntis?
Collaborating with this incredible team is one of my favorite parts of my job. I have always been passionate about innovation and new technologies and have always wanted to help people through my job! I even dreamed of becoming a doctor! So Voluntis is the perfect company to do both!
What is the most interesting part of working at Voluntis?
The most interesting part of working at Voluntis is the constant learning in two major fields: medical and high tech.
Describe the Voluntis culture in 3 words.
Creativity, commitment, respect
If you were on death row, what would your final meal be?
It’s a difficult question! I love food and trying new recipes at home or discovering new restaurants. But if I had to choose, I would go with a newly created recipe that only a chef has ever tried and that’s delicious.
If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, which one would it be?
As one of my favorite series, I’d like to live in the Walking Dead! It might sound insane, but I want to see how, or if, I’d be able to survive in that universe. And maybe I could help with the innovation of a cure, who knows!!
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and how would you use it?
I would choose to fly! That way I could easily get to the people when they need me the most.
